.....Had a blast, it was very warm and humid so the times weren't great. Met a couple of new SRT-10 guys (welcome Jose and your buddy, didn't get his name). All in all there were 4 SRT-10 rams at the track , Arnie was there. 3 Rams ran , Arnie won some good races, Jose and his friend had about 4 match races, Jose won all 4 (but redlighted on the first run). Jose has an 04(Silver), Arnie an 04 in Black and Jose's friend an 05 RC in Red (pure stock), there was a 2nd Red RC but I don't know who that was and he did not race. There were also a couple of Gen 1 Lightnings there, tearing up the 1/4 mile in high 15 and low 16 second ET's .....awesome!
..... I made 3 runs, beat my Buddy's 2012 SRT8 Challenger (auto, tune, ramair, street tires) twice and made my last pass against a ZL1 Camaro (auto, stock, street tires) when we were both heat-soaked.

CTS V : 60' 2.024, 1/8th mile 8.084 @ 92.11, 1/4 mile 12.302 @ 117.19 (yep, same exact speed)
Challenger : 60' 1.966, 1/8th mile 8.247 @ 85.64, 1/4 mile 12.729 @ 110.71

Race 3 ; DA 2878' (15 minutes after run 2, heat soaked)
CTS V : 60' 2.261, 1/8th mile 8.468 @ 90.79, 1/4 mile 12.747 @ 115.82
ZL1 : 60' 2.868, 1/8th mile 9.490 @ 85.61, 1/4 mile 13.925 @ 111.52

It was a fun night just too hot for any good times. I was up from 3am that day and didn't get home untill 2:30am Saturday morning so I was up just about 24 hours, that's what we do for racing.

The newly announced Z/28 will be manual only, but yes, the ZL1 is available with both auto and manual. The Shelby GT500 is manual only.
