The only time a negative number gets me excited!! :D

Results....I'll be honest, I was a little disappointed. I thought with the good air I would run a lot better. Mike (Noid ) had a good day, as he won the 11.0-13.0 class! Made four runs and won them all. His times were in the 12.6-12.9 range, with a 12.71 on a 12.70 dial in the Finals! Here were my runs for the day:

Run1: Temp 63 degrees, DA 313', 60' 1.765, 1/8th mile 7.628 @ (111.700, timeslip was wrong here), 1/4 mile 11.874 @ 114.902. Beat a Dakota RT ([email protected])

Run 2: Temp 69 degrees, DA 707', 60' 1.727, 1/8th mile 7.652 @ 87.249, 1/4 mile 11.925 @ 115.080 (truck was a little warm). Beat a hopped up Chevy pickup (13.251 @ 100.674)

Run 3: Temp 81 degrees, DA 1536', 60' 1.732, 1/8th mile 7.581 @ 87.955, 1/4 mile 11.827 @ 115.662. Beat a Dodge Diesel 2wd RC short bed, with huge slicks...I thought it was going to be really fast so I really tried to cut a light...my RT =.027, his RT= .613....and I guess he had major problems because he only ran 23.124 @ 89.553, he was only doing 42.022 mph at the 1/8th.

All in all a fun day....Congrats to Mike!

I use to run much better speeds at Sacramento a few years ago when I was on drag radials. I'm somewhat confused at the speed for the 1/8th mile for my truck, as I'm usually in the 90-93 mph range at Famoso Drag Strip.

Nice, Mike sent me pics of the trophy he won. Almost didn't believe him, thought he bought it at a garage sale. :D

Your 60's seem to of dropped off considerably, are you spinning now?

No, it's the difference in the starting line from Famoso and Sacramento. Famoso line prep is always much better, plus there were lots of street tire trucks messing with the starting line. Before my second run, a Toyota backed into the water with street tires right before me. From experience I lowered my RPM's on the start at Sacramento.

Jerry I think you've done everything a stock block Srt10 is capable of with a consistent capable driver that shifts extremely fast. Can't wait to see you and your built NA to be the first NA in the 10's unless Justin beats you to it.

Congrats to Noid for the wins!!

It really sucks when the track guys get the prep wrong, I lost the first round in the 1/8 mile grudge racing Saturday night because of it.

Justin isn't NA anymore (spray) so whatever he posts for a time......HE CAN"T BE TRUSTED......:D

Good runs. Would rather you just post what you ran or a folded time slip. Not really worried any other vehicles you ran against ran.

I like how our local track does test and tune. street tires on one lane and they put slicks/DR's in the other. Although for saturday nights, it's total crap since it's run what you brung. I go up to the line and hope for the best :(. Damn i need to fix my t56.

I think some of the guys like some of the kill stories when they are a lot better competition, I include them just for reference purposes. There were two Lightnings there also, but I wasn't lucky enough to line up against them. One was a GenI full race truck, supercharged running about 11.55's, he lost to Noid in the first round on a RED Light. The other Lightning was a Gen II, probably pure stock, so I didn't challenge him, he was running 13.95 on average.....so when I have a 2 second advantage I don't try to embarrass anybody.

Damn 13.95. One engine and two transmissions later, im glad mine never stayed stock. Although id have a lot more money :(

and good points, carry on :)
